The SmartDrive is a compact, lightweight power assist unit that doesn’t compromise on power. With a SmartDrive, you can spin in place, be in a wheelie or hop off curbs. It is compatible with your active lifestyle.

SmartDrive was created with manual wheelchair users in mind. The mounting location, the ergonomic handle, the weight, and the OmniWheel were all designed to create a seamless power assist experience.

Options:

UPDATE AS OF 12/9/23:

The PushTracker E3 will no longer be offered as a control option for all new SmartDrive units. For existing SmartDrive users who operate their device with a PushTracker E2 or E3, there will be no disruption in the ability to continue to do so. It is recommended however, that all SmartDrive users install and use a wired control option as a backup with their wearable control option.

Current control options:

• The new SpeedControl Dial brings next-level control and intuitiveness to SmartDrive. Users are now able to start, stop, and adjust their speeds by simply rotating the dial forwards or backwards. This new standard controller is provided as a free option when purchasing a SmartDrive. It is wired and is powered directly by the SmartDrive unit, so there is no need to charge two devices, and setup takes less than 5 minutes.

• SwitchControl (formerly known as the thumb throttle) is now a no charge option included with every SmartDrive. SwitchControl can be used in combination with a PushTracker/E2 or by itself. SwitchControl gives users another customisable option for controlling their SmartDrive. With the push of a button SmartDrive can be engaged for a momentary burst of power or activated in latched mode for consistent power over extended distances.

• Apple Watch (series 5 or newer) and Samsung Galaxy Watch (4 or newer) via the SmartDrive MX2+ App. These options are required to be purchased separately to your SmartDrive unit. They are not available to order with your SmartDrive or to order from Mobility Plus.
